Fluid Timer Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Summary

Fluid Timer runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There are no network connections, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

Data Collection

Fluid Timer does not collect any data. Specifically:

  • No analytics or telemetry
  • No personal information is gathered, stored, or shared
  • No cookies or tracking mechanisms
  • No usage data is logged or reported
  • No advertising identifiers

Local Data Storage

Fluid Timer stores the following data locally on your device using UserDefaults and App Groups:

  • Timer presets: Names, durations, icons, and colors you configure
  • Session history: Completed sessions, streaks, and session notes
  • Preferences: Settings like launch at login, sound, snooze duration, and daily focus goal

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to any external service.

Widget & Siri Integration

Fluid Timer uses App Groups to share timer state between the main app and the desktop widget. This communication is entirely local. Siri Shortcuts interact with the app through Apple's App Intents framework. No data is sent to external servers.

Network Connections

Fluid Timer makes no network connections. The app is built entirely on Apple frameworks with zero external dependencies. There are no update servers, no API calls, and no remote services.

Third-Party Services

Fluid Timer does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

Fluid Timer does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Open Source

Fluid Timer is open source under the MIT License. You can review the complete source code on GitHub to verify these privacy practices.
